Noelle Rocheleau

Physiotherapist

Noelle graduated from the Master of Physical Therapy program at the University of Sask in Saskatoon. She quickly returned to her home of BC and settled in the Kootenays to start her career as a Physiotherapist. Noelle has advanced her skillset and is accredited in FCAMPT Level 1, vestibular rehabilitation, concussion management, and the McKenzie method. She plans on continuing her education by getting certified in dry needling. Noelle helps clients reach their goals through her treatment approach, which integrates her background experience in exercise prescription as well as manual therapy techniques. In her spare time you will find Noelle outside either skiing, mountain biking, climbing, or hiking. Exercise is medicine!



Olga Korsensky

Physiotherapist

Olga graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree over 18 years ago and has been a practicing musculoskeletal physiotherapist ever since. Her pursuit of knowledge and constant drive for self-improvement led her to complete a Master’s degree in Physical Education along with numerous courses in manual therapy, needling, and pelvic health.

Her approach to treatment is evidence-based and client-centered, delivered with respect, empathy, and genuine care. Olga utilizes a variety of tools to treat, help, and prevent various work-related injuries, accidents, and overuse strains. She believes that prevention, proper biomechanics, and ergonomics are the foundations of a healthy body and mind in the workplace. In her treatments, she often employs manual therapy, needling, exercise prescription, and education.


Allison Schneider

Physiotherapist

Allison is an energetic person and a competitive athlete. She competed in varsity rowing and hockey at the University of Guelph, where she completed a Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics degree. She then graduated with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy at Queen's University. She now has over 10 years of experience and has spent much of her career serving the Whistler community. In addition to her private practice, Allison works with the World Cup Para-Alpine team, helping them prepare for the 2022 Paralympics in Beijing.

Allison’s physical health practice model is to create a positive intention for collaboration between you, the client, and the therapist. What does that mean? It means that you are an active participant in your treatment. Your individual needs, abilities, and goals will guide the care you receive. The collaboration formed through this approach to physiotherapy will build a foundation upon which you can grow and prevent future injuries. Allison utilizes a hybrid of hands-on modalities and exercises to achieve each client’s unique goals. She addresses acute concerns, uncovers underlying mechanical issues, and works through reoccurring injuries and symptoms. She has advanced training in functional dry needling, manual therapy, acupuncture, functional exercise prescription and concussion recovery.


Trevor O’Malley

Physiotherapist

Trevor completed his Master of Physical Therapy and Bachelor of Human Kinetics from the University of British Columbia. As a clinician, Trevor has a special interest in sports injuries, chronic pain, and orthopedic rehabilitation.

He is an advocate of evidence-based practice, and believes that education and exercise therapy are fundamental to improving rehabilitation outcomes. Currently, he has completed his Canadian Physiotherapy Association Orthopedic Division Level 1 certification, and continues to be involved in continuing education. Trevor is a proud member of Physiotherapy Association of British Columbia, and continues to promote physiotherapy throughout the community through volunteering.

On his weekends, Trevor enjoys spending his time in the outdoors; skiing, rock climbing, and fly-fishing.

  


Adrian Smith

Physiotherapist

Adrian holds a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Queen’s University, and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Waterloo University. He provides individualized and evidence-based physiotherapy treatment to help clients reach their personal goals. Adrian coaches clients towards self-management of current and future injuries by empowering them with the necessary knowledge, tools, and resources.  

He brings a warm and compassionate voice to guide clients through the rehabilitation process. With experience in both clinic and hospital settings. Adrian has worked with diverse populations in varying stages of recovery. Whether you are a weekend triathlete or an avid dog walker, he will support you in finding ways to get you back to what you love doing.  

Adrian grew up in a small town in Nova Scotia and enjoys sports of all kinds. Outside of the clinic, you can often find him at the rock climbing gym, hanging out with friends, or watching a Jays game. 


Sara Austin

Physiotherapist

Sara graduated from the University of Alberta with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy in 2016. She has a background in exercise science, and completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2013. Sara is certified to perform both neuroanatomical acupuncture and functional dry needling. She has also completed additional training in vestibular rehabilitation, aquatic physiotherapy, and manual therapy.

Sara is passionate about helping people to reduce their pain, manage their injuries or chronic conditions, and get back to activities that they enjoy. She believes in a hands-on approach to treatment, and uses a combination of manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, acupuncture, education, and collaboration with clients to help them achieve their rehabilitation goals. She has an interest in the field of orthopedics, chronic pain, and vestibular conditions. In her spare time, Sara enjoys skiing, weight training, cooking, and spending time with her family.


Janet LUU

Physiotherapist

Janet graduated from the University of Alberta with a Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy after earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary. She first encountered the realm of physiotherapy when a family member was experiencing mobility problems.

She has always admired how physiotherapy integrates physical activity into the rehabilitation process. Janet uses manual therapy as part of her treatment plan, with a focus on exercise and education. Janet believes it is important that she learns about each patient's particular experiences so that she can develop an individualized care plan that is appropriate for their injury, fitness level, and lifestyle.

Janet loves developing relationships with patients and delivering one-on-one care. When Janet is not at the clinic, she is working in a hospital setting delivering physiotherapy services to acute care patients. Janet enjoys volleyball, weightlifting, snowboarding, and golfing while she is not at work. She enjoys dining out as a way to experience new cultures and she is always on the lookout for new culinary recommendations!


Pratik Vyas

Pratik graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from Rajiv Gandhi University, India and obtained a master's degree in Sport and Exercise Science with a Major in Biomechanics from Manchester Metropolitan University in the United Kingdom.

He strongly believes in exercise-based rehabilitation, hands-on manual therapy, injury prevention, IMS treatment and patient education/ awareness about the injury.


ABRA Baal

Physiotherapist

Abra completed a Master of Physiotherapy at the University of British Columbia along with a Bachelor of Kinesiology. Having been raised in small communities in BC’s interior, Abra has a love for the outdoors and a lifetime commitment to active healthy living.

Her treatment approach has a focus on client-centered care, utilizing hands-on treatment with adjunct exercise prescription and education to alleviate current symptoms and prevent future injury. As she strives to provide the best care, Abra has completed additional training in myofascial release, manual therapy, functional dry needling/intramuscular stimulation, shock wave and clinical Pilates.

When she is not in the clinic, Abra enjoys spending her time swimming, hiking, paddle boarding, snowboarding and travelling.


Alampreet Sunner

Physiotherapist

Alampreet graduated with a Masters in Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta where she also obtained Bachelor degrees in Science and Science in Nursing.

Alampreet uses a variety of treatment options centred around manual therapy and exercise to provide patient-centered care. She aims to empower patients through education and individualized treatment plans to help them best achieve their health and wellness goals.

During her spare time, Alampreet likes to go for runs, try new restaurants, watch movies, and spend time with family and friends.


Simon kelly

Physiotherapist

Simon graduated from the National University of Ireland, Galway with a bachelor of science degree majoring in Physiology. He then completed a masters in physiotherapy at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, United Kingdom.

He spent several years in a United Kingdom based company, honing his skills treating a wide variety of neuromusculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions. He also practiced in Ireland in a musculoskeletal private practice before making his way over to this side of the pond. For the past 4 years he has been working in a private clinic in Surrey which yielded an award for one of the top 3 rated physios in Surrey in 2018 & 2019.

His treatment method is a hands on approach coupled with intramuscular stimulation (dry needling) and modalities. Paramount for Simon is the transference of knowledge and education regarding diagnosis, time frames and an adherence to a holistic client specific treatment plan to ensure long term results.


Brendan O’Brien

Brendan completed his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Saskatchewan in 2012 before going on to complete his Master of Science in Physical Therapy from GlasgowCaledonian University in Glasgow, Scotland in 2016.

Brendan has experience working as an exercise therapist before becoming a physiotherapist. He has worked in the public and private sectors of physiotherapy and has experience in an array of orthopedic injuries. His post graduate training includes Functional Dry Needling level 1 and 2, McKenzie diagnosis and treatment levels A/B/C, Functional Capacity Training, and Saskatchewan Spine Pathway: Low Back Pain Assessment and Management Course.

 

NOÉMIE TITO

Physiotherapist

Noémie graduated from Concordia University with an Honours degree in Athletic Therapy. Building on her passion for sports medicine, she pursued a Master's degree in Physiotherapy at McGill University. She moved to Victoria in 2023 in search of new adventures and the West Cost lifestyle. 

Throughout her career, she has cultivated a diverse clinical experience having treated varsity athletes, worked in a hospital setting, completed an internship in India, and treated seniors in a home-care setting.

Noémie's approach revolves around a patient-partner philosophy, emphasizing collaboration for successful rehabilitation and employs a blend of personalized manual therapy, modalities, and targeted exercises. 


cyril Mariadoss

Physiotherapist

Cyril is a Registered Physiotherapist, an internationally educated graduate with 24 years of experience in hospital and clinical settings. He started his career in neurology at Paraplegic Foundation in Mumbai, India and also worked under Dr.Ali Irani ( Former Indian Cricket Team Physiotherapist) in Nanavati Hospital, Mumbai, India. He owned a clinic for 15 years in India, specializing in stroke management, neck & back care, arthritis, post-operative rehabilitation programmes.

Cyril is a dedicated professional helping patients to move better and feel more resilient. He believes in empowering you with knowledge of your body, so you take back control over your life.

In spare time, he listens to music and loves to spend time with family and friends.


Tommy Yang

Physiotherapist

Tommy holds a Master of Physical Therapy and a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia. He was previously a swim instructor for the City of Richmond and a swim coach for the Special Olympics.

Drawing from his personal and professional experiences, Tommy understands the physical and emotional challenges that are associated with rehabilitation. Tommy approaches treatment with an open mind, using a combination of hands-on techniques, personalized exercise prescription and education to facilitate recovery.

 

 

Ben Vuong

Physiotherapist

Ben completed his Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta, and a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from the University of Lethbridge. He has returned to his hometown of Lethbridge to provide the community with high quality care.

Ben’s approach to treatment is primarily exercise-based and education, although he does utilize other treatments like manual therapy. He works with patients to help them understand their personal injury and cooperatively develops an individualized treatment plan. He provides his patients with confidence, knowledge, and resources to better self-manage and prevent future injuries.

Ben enjoys anything between playing board games to going on hikes with friends and family. He spends a fair amount of time weightlifting at the gym to improve upon my own health and fitness, as well as challenge my body’s mental and physical capacity.


Anna Maria Hepp

I graduated with a Master’s Degree in the Physical Therapy program at the University of Alberta. My interest in physiotherapy started and continues to grow with my participation and love of sport. I am keen to continue expanding my skills and knowledge as a physiotherapist by completing post-graduate training in manual therapy techniques specifically.

My treatment style consists of manual therapy, functional dry needling, prescription of therapeutic exercises along with education for prevention and management of any ailment. I enjoy working with all clients of all activity levels and ages to restore function, reduce pain and increase mobility and strength. My aim is to work closely with client’s goals and health needs to develop an individualized treatment program to get them back to where they want to be!


 

Taylor Goedhart

Taylor completed her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Lethbridge, then went on to obtain her Master of Science in Physical Therapy degree from the University of Alberta. She has a broad scope of experience in physical therapy and utilizes an individualized approach to helping people reach their goals regardless of age, ability, or ailment. She has a strong interest in injury prevention, and primarily utilizes the fundaments of education and therapeutic exercise in her clinical practice.

Taylor was born and raised on a grain and cattle farm in Southern Alberta. She grew up playing every possible sport she could and working on a honey bee farm. These experiences lead her to her career in physiotherapy, as she saw the value in injury prevention and the importance of lifelong exercise. Taylor continues to farm with her husband and their young daughter. In her “spare time” she will be found being a mom, driving tractors in circles, and praying for rain.

 
 

JANA KAP

Physiotherapist


Jana Kapp, MScPT, B.Sc.Kin, CSIA 2, CSCF 1, hails from Ontario. She earned her B.Sc. in Kinesiology from McMaster University, where she was part of The MACDancers. Moving to Whistler in 2007, her love for dance merged with skiing. She taught skiing and earned CSIA levels while pursuing her passion. In 2008, she returned to Ontario for her Masters in Physiotherapy, then resumed her career in Whistler. Battling her own concussions, she delved into concussion management, becoming skilled in Vestibular Rehabilitation and Vision Therapy. She co-facilitated Whistler's first Concussion Support Group, driven by her passion to assist others in navigating head injuries.

 
 

JANA SCOTT

Jana holds a Masters in Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of Calgary. She has been practicing as a physio in both the private and public sectors for the last 7 years in the Rossland/Trail area, where she grew up. She not only has a passion for physical rehabilitation post injury but is also a keen advocate for injury prevention and optimizing functional movement patterns to allow clients to perform at their best in both life and sport.

She has experience in acute care, neuro rehab, orthopedics, pediatrics and residential care. This gives her a unique understanding of the resources available in the community and the best combination of client education, manual therapy and exercise prescription to help clients return to their fully functioning selves. When not in the clinic, you’ll find her pursuing outdoor activities, gardening, coaching fitness classes or selling her handmade soap at local farmers’ markets

 
 

HERIC LOPES

Heric is a physiotherapist from São Paulo, Brazil, holding a degree in Biological Science and Physical Therapy earned in 2004. Apart from his studies, Heric played professional team handball in Brazil and was part of the national team during the 2000-2004 Olympic cycle. He concluded his sports career when he moved to Canada in 2005. With over 14 years of experience in Calgary, Alberta, he relocated to Vancouver Island with his family in 2019. Specializing in Sports & Musculoskeletal issues and Chronic Pain since the beginning of his practice, he expanded his expertise in 2009 to include helping patients with dizziness, vertigo, and balance problems. In 2013, he achieved Competency in Vestibular Rehabilitation from Emory University in Atlanta, USA. Heric adopts an active and evidence-based approach to physiotherapy, emphasizing education, movement and exercise therapy, manual therapy techniques, and dry needling for a person-centred experience. Outside the clinic, he stays active with resistance training and running. He practices what he preaches, and in his free time, he explores Vancouver Island with his wife and daughter.

 
 

BRITTANY GARGAS

Brittany initially completed her BSc in Kinesiology in 2018 before moving to London, England, to pursue her dream of becoming a physiotherapist. With a background as a dancer and snowboarder and with a passion for health, fitness and travel, pursuing her physiotherapy degree overseas was the perfect career path. Before becoming a physio, Brittany worked as an Athletic Therapist and Kinesiologist in private physiotherapy clinics and with several sports teams, including ice hockey, football, lacrosse and soccer.

Since completing her MSc in Physiotherapy in 2021 in London, Brittany has moved back to Edmonton. She has found her passion in MSK work, including day-to-day aches and pains and sports-related injuries. Through a combination of manual therapy and exercise, Brittany is committed to helping you reach your rehabilitation goals and get back to `doing the things you love.

 
 

DANIEL LEFEBVRE

Daniel found his true calling in health and wellness after earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Immunology and Infection. With a desire to improve health on a larger scale, Daniel shifted gears towards industrial construction where he tackled health and safety programs for clients across western and central Canada. Daniel was struck by the number of people who work with pain, or work while injured. Feeling he could do more to help these people he was inspired to pursue a Master’s in Physical Therapy.

Now, Daniel focuses on delivering personalized care – emphasizing education and empowerment to support long-term recovery. He believes getting back to function leads to a more fulfilling life. He’ll work with you to set goals and create a plan to reach them.
